Objective:
The objective of this unit is to give an overview of the performance standards for cargo oil tank coatings which was approved for use by the International Maritime Organisation.
The standard will have an impact on paint companies, applicators, shipyards and classification societies.
As the standard is in many parts the same as the PSPC for ballast tanks, only the major differences are reviewed.
